Agewell Foundation, is a not-for-profit NGO which has been working for the welfare and empowerment of older persons of India since 1999. Agewell Foundation’s vision for the older persons is to empower them to lead a life of dignity and respect. We believe, sustained efforts would not only create an older person's friendly environment but also it would also awaken a sense of responsibility amongst us all, to make this possible. Older persons do not need charity or sympathy.

We are a consortium of over 1500 NGOs spread across 640 districts of India with a Two-tier national voluntary network - 7500 primary & 80000 secondary volunteers Interacting with approx. 25000 older persons on a daily basis

Recognizing the work being done by Agewell Foundation ECOSOC has granted Special Consultative Status at United Nations since 2011
